Love melts ice in hearts
slowly thaws and warms inside the mind
water running to quench thirst
I've never done a Haiku before-that may be obvious from the one above! :) Interesting how just a few words can hold so much meaning and thought-at least from the writer's perspective. Anyway, enjoy!

Wow! How beautiful! I love the water image. It seems very life-giving and shows that we are all desperate for love, as a desolate landscape needs water. Nancy
ReplyDeleteHi, again, Tonya. I just want to mention that your extra postings will count for extra credit, but I may wait until the end of the term to count them so that I can see what's actually extra. Great work! Nancy
ReplyDeleteHi Tonya. Not at all obvious to me! I think it's perfectly beautiful and I can see it printed on a watercolored background with all these soft pastels running down a waterfall or something. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteTonya~ Perhaps you should take up the art of Haiku writing! This is awesome! Who would have thought that we can capture such paramount meanings in so few syllables? I enjoyed your Haiku very much! ~Lisa
